Sacramento County has prepared its Local Hazard Mitigation Plan (LHMP) to identify, assess, and mitigate the most likely natural disasters to impact our area.  

The County is vulnerable to numerous hazards that are identified, profiled, and analyzed in this plan.  Floods, levee failures, drought, wildfires, and other severe weather events are among the hazards that can have a significant impact on the Sacramento County planning area and its residents.
